VO Vintage 2022 – from September 9 to 11 in conjunction with Vicenzaoro – has established itself as the most cross-cultural event in Italy for vintage watches and jewelry lovers

The third edition of VO Vintage 2022, from September 9 to 11, is ready to kick off. Held on the noble floor of all Vicenzaoro pavilions, it is the flagship event of Italian Exhibition Group, a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and a leading organizer of trade fair events around the world: in addition to Rimini, Vicenza and Arezzo, they are present also in the U.S.A., the United Arab Emirates, China, Mexico and India.

Among the exhibitors coming from all around the world, the presence of New Yorker Bob Maron stands out – with his 120 thousand followers on Instagram he is one of the most followed watch dealers in the social media world – while among the Italians we denote the debut of Andrea Foffi, a top dealer in vintage watches and, above all, specialized in rare and extremely rare Omegas. At VO Vintage 2022, Foffi will also present the exceptional monographic exhibition entitled “Magister Speedmaster Exhibition. Birth and evolution of an Icon.”

The crowd of guests is also truly sumptuous. They range from the world’s greatest collector Sandro Fratini – along with his son Giulio – to men’s fashion guru and trendsetter in vintage watches Alessandro Squarzi, to top dealer Maurizio De Angelis (his last two auctions in Forte dei Marmi, in partnership with Antiquorum, set Italian records). All together they will host the conference entitled “Past, present and future of watchmaking.”

The cream of the cropis expected for the lecture “Trend in watchmaking, between mechanical savoir faire and designer aesthetic taste” with master watchmaker Luca Soprana, and cult designer Mo Coppoletta (collaborations with Rolls-Royce, Turnbull & Asser, Maison Bonnet, Montblanc, Harry’s Bar, and, above all, with Bulgari and Chronopassion for the wonderful Octo Finissimo Tattoo Aria).

Both talks will be moderated by our chief editor Michele Mengoli. With WATCH INSANITY as VO Vintage 2022’s Official Media Partner. Same for our forum, WATCHOUSE, with co-founder Bruno Bergamaschi playing host during ad hoc initiatives and meetings reserved to forumists throughout the three-day event in Vicenza.

Closing the entertaining events loop are the usual courses, always full, led by Professor Ugo Pancani, trainer from the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie – with classes on “watchmaking complications” and “vintage watches maintenance” – and the greatly expected “Newman Master” lecture by Stefano Mazzariol, expert scientist on the subject.
