Vacheron Constantin: Patrimony Moon Phase & Retrograde Date

Known to have a “refined” taste for “unusual” matches this year we decided to live the Milan Design Week with an Insanity mood. That’s why we combined the design and innovation of Salone del Mobile together with the class and allure of the new Patrimony moon phase and retrograde date by Vacheron Constantin.

We already spoke about this watch in January during SIHH, but only today we’ve had the chance to wear it for few days and give you our impression.

To combine those two worlds apparently so far from each other we acted like a visitor of the Salone with a sophisticated taste for watches and we explored Milan’s Fuorisalone streets looking for the perfect shots. It has not been easy to find the right interpretation, but once we started to shoot everything went perfectly.

Industrial components, reflections and a casual outfits are the three key elements we played around our Vacheron Constantin Patrimony, creating big -but balanced- contrasts between the “traditional” style of the watch and the rough backgrounds.

On the wrist is simply awesome… weight and size are incredibly comfortable! The 42.5mm white gold case gives the watch an important look, while on the silver dial every indication is extremely easy to read. The calendar on the upper part and the moon phase at 6 o’clock perfect the watch aesthetics, adding more value wearing it.

The more you look at it the more you like it. That’s the true strength of the new Patrimony moon phase and retrograde date. An apparently classic timepiece but with a very personal touch, exactly what represent us…
