Following the 10 most “insane” male models of 2016 (THE BEST INSANE WATCHES OF 2016), now it’s the turn of the top 10 timepieces that made the hearts of our watches passionate Ladies beat this year. Here they are below, in alphabetical order – too difficult to choose only one winner!

1. Audemars Piguet: Royal Oak Frosted Gold

We have already talked about this timepiece, which makes a statement for its brilliance and its sporting but ultra-feminine attitude.

2. Bulgari: Serpenti Incantati

Not just a watch and not just a jewel, but both, together, and at a high level.

3. Cartier: Panthères et Colibri

An extraordinary example of horological ‘sertissage’ combined with a particularly interesting complication.

4. Chanel: J12-XS

The fashion house shrunk its magic wand and made its icon, the J12, in size XS. A real accessory for your wrist, to wear every day.

5. Chopard: Happy Diamonds

The legendary timepiece of the Swiss house blew out 40 candles, showing that “diamonds are (still) girls’ best friends”!

6. Jaeger LeCoultre: Reverso Louboutin

The iconic model is now “cooler” thanks to the bold straps and dials designed by Monsieur Louboutin for Atelier Reverso.

7. Parmigiani: Tonda Metropolitaine Selene

Very elegant, thanks to the white mother of pearl dial, but also complicated, with an indication of moon phases developed in-house.

8. Piaget: Limelight Gala Bracelet Milanese

Already winner of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève prize for the best female model of the year, this wonderful example of design and manufacturing could not but deserve a mention in our top 10.

9. Rolex: Datejust 39

A triumph of “sertissage” of precious stones, the “jewel in the Crown” of Rolex.

10. Van Cleef & Arpels: Lady Arpels Ronde des Papillons

An extraordinary example of the “Complications poétiques”, the complications in the name of the Parisian brand romance.
