Roger Dubuis: Excalibur “Loupe View”
8 November 2016Since we don’t like simple things, this week we decided to show you something new… We are not talking about a “news” feature or an “on the wrist” shooting, but of a “loupe view” (Loupe in French means magnifying glass). In this article we mixed everyday life around us, with the most important characteristic of the Roger Dubuis Excalibur… the SKELETONIZED MOVEMENT!
Living in chaotic cities and having a hectic work-life balance, we often lose our most beautiful moments, or we don’t realize how many wonders surround us. To elaborate this, we used the transparency of the automatic movement RD820SQ Excalibur as a magnifying glass on the city of Milan, and to show you our point of view.
This confirms why we need an insanity watch, with great character and strong lines, to show you all its features without losing sight of the “panorama”.
Through the 167 handmade components of the Excalibur, we have managed to show through all its depth, and its 3D effect created by the Star and the micro rotor, without neglecting the surroundings.
While we fix our gaze on hours and minutes, indicated by the Dauphine hands, the 42mm case in white gold with chased bezel, perfectly frames this metropolis in perpetual movement.
