Roger Dubuis: Excalibur Aventador S In Blue & Pink Gold
15 January 2018Roger Dubuis officially start the SIHH 2018 revealing two new vrsions of the Excalibur Aventador S, the collection inspired by the automotive world developped in partnership with Lamborghini Squadra Corse presented the last october.
The new Excalibur Aventador S are both propelled by the hand-wound Duotor RD103SQ calibre with 40 hours of power reserve and equipped with the double balance composed by 312 parts. Recalling the performance-enhancing longitudinal placement of Lamborghini engines, the double balance wheel is inclined at a similar angle, supported and highlighted by holders shaped like triangular wheel suspension assemblies.
The first model is the Excalibur Adventador S Blue realized with a 45mm carbon C-SMC case with titanium container overmolded with blue rubber and fluted C-SMC carbon bezel with blue markings. The Skeleton dial is in C-SMC carbon with black and red flange, rhodium plated indexes filled with white luminous SLN and 18K black PVD coated gold hands.
The strap is requipped with a quick system for an easy interchangeability in Bi-material with black rubber base and neptune blue inlay and red stitching. Limited edition to 88 pieces.
The second version is the Excalibur Aventador S Pink Gold with a 45mm case in multi-layer carbon, titanium container overmolded with black rubber, fluted pink gold bezel with black markings. Pink gold crown overmolded with black rubber. Bi-material strap with black rubber base and black Alcantara inlay, golden stitching and quick release system. Limited edition to 28 pieces.
