Pre SIHH 2017: Richard Mille RM 07-01 & RM 037 NTPT Ladies

If we usually see NTPT carbon used in Richard Mille men’s collection “it has become a distinctive material for the brand” today the watchmaker reveals the female side of the material into two new women’s models. We are talking about the RM 037 and the RM 07-01, which we present in a preview and will be unveiled in January at the SIHH 2017 salon.

In the two timepieces, the NTPT carbon is enriched with a precious stones setting, new and complex adventure for the brand. Unlike gold, which allows the craftsman to work by hand directly with their tools, in fact, the hardness and the resistance of the carbon involves the use of specific machines equipped with special tools to create the dense drilling necessary to the realization of the stones setting.

The NTPT Carbon with diamonds case of the RM 07-01 Automatic Ladies, also available in white or brown ceramic, white gold or red gold, houses a self-winding movement, skeleton, with the indication of hours, minutes and variable geometry rotor.

The caliber CRMA2, manufactured in-house, is enhanced by a combination of unique materials such as red gold for the central part of the case and ATZ white ceramic for the bezel and case back.

The RM 037 features the caliber CRMA1, self-winding movement, skeleton, with the indication of hours, minutes, rotor with variable geometry, large date and function selector. Also in the CRMA1 caliber the central part of the case is in red gold, while bezel and case back are in black ceramic TZP-N. The case, water resistant to 5 atm, is in carbon NTPT set with diamonds on the bezel.
