E’ Giovedì 19 Marzo, dopo una lunga attività sui social siamo pronti per presentarvi il nostro sito web ed il primo post firmato Watch Insanity.
Vista la nostra insana passione per l’orologeria alternativa abbiamo deciso di iniziare questo viaggio con il nuovo e rivoluzionario HYT Skull.

Disponibile in due versioni in serie limitata, Skull Green Eye (in titanio nero e fluido verde) e Skull Red Eye (in oro rosa 18 carati e fluido rosso), questo fantastico pezzo futuristico segna ore, secondi e riserva di carica.

Si, avete capito proprio bene, HYT “The Hydro Mechanical Horologists”, con questo orologio ha deciso di “farla finita” con i minuti e di scioccare puntando tutto su un’estetica estremamente d’impatto.

Per quanto possa risultare semplice, non avendo particolari complicazioni, le novità ed i segreti dietro questo gioiello sono molte; il quadrante è caratterizzato da un tubo in vetro spesso meno di un millimetro che percorre il teschio, all’interno del quale scorre il liquido che segna l’ora, la vera anima di HYT.

Gli occhi dello Skull possono sembrare profondi e minacciosi, ma se osservati con attenzione svelano molto di più!
Dietro l’occhio sinistro si nasconde il disco dei secondi e dietro quello destro la riserva di carica con 65 ore di autonomia.
Sotto al naso potete notare il cuore pulsante dello Skull, due soffietti che fanno parte del movimento a 4 Hz (28.800 BPH) che permette lo spostamento del liquido, meglio visibile attraverso il vetro zaffiro posto sul fondello.

Abbastanza complicato, nonostante non abbia l’indicazione dei minuti!
Arrivati a questo punto la domanda sorge spontanea.. Ma quanto costa?
Se l’orologio vi ha affascinato, sicuramente il prezzo vi piacerà di meno.. parliamo infatti di 90.000 CHF per il Green Eye (L.E. 50 pezzi) e 100.000 CHF per il Red Eye (L.E. 25 pezzi). Più tasse chiaramente..

I primi esemplari prodotti saranno consegnati a maggio 2015.
Ma non è finita qui…
HYT ha comunicato che che in futuro usciranno versioni differenti non in edizione limitata con diverse combinazioni di colori e materiali.

One of the elements that influenced our decision to begin our adventure with the new and original HYT Skull, is obviously our insane passion for alternative Watchmaking.

Available in two different limited edition references, the Skull Green Eye (black titanium with green liquid) and Skull Red Eye (18 carat pink gold and red liquid), an amazing and futuristic timepiece displays hours, seconds and power reserve.

Yes, you’ve understood well, with this new watch HYT, “The Hydro Mechanical Horologists “, have been decided to do not display the minutes, but also to shock with a new and revolutionary shape!

It might seem simple, but there are many secret behind the construction of this jewel: on the dial you can see a small glass pipe (thick less then a millimeter), that follows the shape of the skull, which contains the liquid that tells the hour, the real soul of HYT.

If you pay attention for a moment to the deep and scary eyes of the skull you can immediately see that there is something hidden, in fact behind the left eye you can find the rotating disc that displays the seconds and behind the right one the disc that tells the power reserve, which has 65 hours of charge.
Right below the nose you can find the “heart” of the Skull, the two bellows which allow the liquid motion, that you can entirely see trough the sapphire glass case back.

Pretty complicated even without the minutes hand, isn’t it?
Now the question is, how much is the Skull?
Even if you appreciated this watch we’re sure you’re not gonna love the price, since we are talking about 90.000 CHF + tax for the Green Eye (L.E. 50 pieces) and 100.000 CHF + tax for the Red Eye (Limited Edition 25 pieces).

The production have already been started and the first pieces will be delivered in May 2015.
