Hublot Loves Capri: Classic Fusion Chronograph Edition Capri
26 July 2019Hublot Loves Summer, and this summer it surfed a wave from Ibiza to Mykonos to Capri to celebrate the hot season and the art of Fusion. The Capri island, beloved around the world for its breathtaking landscapes and its unique class, was the source of inspiration for the new Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Special Edition Capri – created to celebrate summer, and also the second anniversary of the local boutique which was inaugurated in 2017 on via Vittorio Emanuele.
Sky blue like the crystal waters surrounding the island, this new limited edition was produced in only 30 pieces. It features a 45-mm polished sky blue satin-finished ceramic case, a tone sun tone ceramic bezel, and a ridged white rubber strap with a deployant clasp made of steel. The dial, sky blue with a Sunray, satin-finished effect, presents polished silver appliques – matching perfectly with the hours and minutes hands – and white, “30-minute chronograph and small seconds” subdials. The date is featured in a little window at 6 o’clock.
Inside lays the HUB1143 self-winding chronograph movement with a 42-hour power reserve, and beneath, the caseback made of sky blue polished ceramic is engraved with the “CAPRI EDITION” signature and the numbering of the limited serie.
Water resistant down to 50 meters, the new Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Special Edition Capri is delivered inside an elegant jewellery box adorned with a stylised image of the Faraglioni coastal rock formations, blue as the sea. It is exclusively available at the Capri Hublot boutique for €13.900.
