Bell&Ross: BR V2-94 Black Steel
30 October 2017This week on Watch Insanity’s wrist you’ll find the new BR V2-94 Black Steel, the third generation of Bell&Ross Vintage collection, inspired by the world of aviation.
The “airborne” aesthetical codes have been faithful to the originals while the design has evolved in shape and size, becoming more actual and modern.
The first recognizable differences are the size of the case, which is slightly bigger (41mm) and slimmer, the rounded lugs, the bezel with speedometer, and the screw down pushers.
Through the ultra-domed sapphire glass we can see the dial, which features classic white numerals on a matt black background. The chronograph counter of the 30 minutes can be found at 9 o’clock, the small seconds at 3 o’clock, the date between 4 and 5 o’clock, while the big central hand (shaped like an airplane) measures the seconds of the chronograph.
The BR V2-94 Black Steel is water resistant up to 100 meters and is powered by the automatic caliber BR-Cal.301. Paired with a shiny/matt steel bracelet with deployante buckle, the new Bell & Ross is very comfortable on the wrist thanks to the increased number of links. And if you prefer the leather you can also match it with a black calf strap.
The price is as always very competitive, all the aviation enthusiasts can purchase it for €.4.200.
