Richard Mille RM 011 Red TPT – Quartz Automatic Flyback Chronograph
7 October 2015RICHARD MILLE RM 011 Red TPT
Quartz Automatic Flyback Chronograph
Despite the word Quartz in its name, this new RM 11 version is, as always, “liven up” by a refined mechanical movement.
After the amazing RM 27-02 Tourbillon Rafael Nadal, this is the second watch produced by Richard Mille that mixes Carbon fiber and layers of Quartz for the construction of the case.
For its features, this Quartz technology (called TPT) has been used both in Formula 1 chassis construction and in aeronautics, and now in watchmaking.Who, better then Richard Mille, could introduce such an avant-garde technique for its timepieces?
The TPT Quartz technology case features more then 600 layers in total. The mix of materials gives the watch a truly unique red color with black shades.
For the rest it remains technically a RM 11 with the usual characteristics, time, flyback chronograph, and annual calendar with 55 hours of power reserve.
The Richard Mille RM 011 Red TPT Quartz will be produced in a limited edition of 50 pieces, and will be just sold through Richard Mille boutiques.
Ah, regarding this jewel’s cost… don’t expect a reasonable price!
