Let the tickling of your watch pace this trip among the snowy pines in the morning light.

In front of you, the wheel of your Defender pickup; on your wrist, a Girard-Perregaux Laureato; beside you, she is sitting wearing her jewel, her watch.

Around you, only wilderness and frozen creeks that seem to usher you across the Dolomites –like silent and savvy guides– all the way up to 1700 meters.

She isn’t aware that up there a pack of wolves and sleighs are waiting for you, but she doesn’t fear anything because she is young and athletic just like the new Laureato collection: ready to face each and every challenge.

For the first time, Girard-Perregaux’s casual-chic timepiece is clothed entirely in ceramic. A lighter and more robust version which enhances even more its ergonomic qualities. Like in the other versions, this Laureato stands out for its distinctive octagonal, shiny bezel, overlaid on a 42-mm integrated case “without a lug.” The bracelet –one of this watch’s best assets– is an extension of the case, characterised by h-shaped satin meshes with curved and shiny links. The automatic movement sets in motion the hours, minutes and central seconds functions as well as the date featured on the black dial with a Clou de Paris motif.

Black for him, white for her: the Laureato’s women version comes with a 38-mm case made of white ceramic. A bright look for the steel bezel and crown, recalling the colour of the indices and baton hands: both silver and luminescent. 56 brilliant-cut diamonds summing up 0.90 carats enrich the bezel and emphasise the the silver-white dial with the classic Clou de Paris motif. The self-winding mechanical movement guarantees 46 hours of power and a water resistance up to 100 meters.

For the first time, the new Laureato’s sophisticated design fuses with the purity and wildernessof the snowy mountains, proving that it is ready to meet any challenge.
