Grip On Wrist: Roger Dubuis & MV Agusta Meet Pirelli
27 June 2018Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Pirelli is brutal in its beauty, it does not hide anything. The details, such as the skeletonized dial, complemented by a fluted black DLC titanium bezel with white numbers and profiles, is a direct link to the motorsport world and extreme engineering.
The bi-material strap with black rubber has been created in partnership with Pirelli, using a mix of tires that have raced and won automobile races. It has a perfect wrist comfort as great as the seal on the asphalt of the new Brutale 800 RR Pirelli.
Brutale is MV Agusta medium-powered naked, cutting the edge in terms of design and performance in this category, which makes it the ideal companion for this Roger Dubuis. The bike is compact, with a harmonious but still aggressive design. Just like in the Excalibur Spider Pirelli, there are no boundaries in the Brutale either, with all components of the bike perfectly merged in pure and tapered lines.
Part of the main components had been freshly developed in order to improve performances: countershaft and primary transmission have been completely redesigned, while the intake and exhaust cams have been perfected. It combines a new sequential electronic gearbox, very precise and easy to use.
The rims, the same as the Brutale 4 cylinders, combined with the 140 bhp 800 cc engine, make the driving experience more exciting and sharp.
Boldness and extravagance are Roger Dubuis’ signatures, and determination its driving force: features that can be easily transferred to MV Agusta.
