Chanel: Code Coco
10 December 2017Code Coco, Chanel‘s new jewelry watch, embodies the distinctive codes of the Maison. At first glance, with its triumph of princesse, brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds, it looks like a bracelet, a jewel. The turning lock system that hides or reveals the time is activated with a click. It immediately reminds the 2.55 bag, the iconic model created by Mademoiselle Chanel in February 1955 and the turning lock system, with its 15 baguette-cut diamonds, adorns the heart of the white gold dial.
The Code Coco’s bracelet “limited to only 5 pieces”, is embellished with 301 princess-shaped diamonds. The bracelet is very soft and light, not impeding any movement, and it is reminiscent of another element of the Chanel Dna, the matelassé motif.
Because, as Virginie Viard, Director of Fashion Studio Chanel says “At Chanel, we play freely with the codes of the House. At CHANEL, one code always leads us toward another”.
The Chanel Code Coco stat’s at €.4.850 for the steel version, €.8.900 for the steel and diamonds version and about €.900.00 for the limited edition “only 5 pieces” in white gold entirely encrusted with diamonds.
