Legacy Machine 101 FROST

Presented in 2014 for the first time, Legacy Machine 101 highlights the very essence of a watch: precision, power reserve and time.
With the new ‘Frost’ limited edition, this concept is appraised by the frosted gold dial in grenée finishes. This unique surface is obtained through a long brushing procedure.

Indeed, the surface is polished by compressing metal without removing material: this creates the “frosted” finish, so though that it cannot be hand-realized.

LM 101 has always been characterized by the balance wheel, which is no more hidden behind the mechanism, but centrally suspended over the two dials of hours, minutes and power reserve.
The two dials are slightly rounded with hands in blued gold, featured by a pure white color obtained thanks to a polishing with translucent effect, a particular technique called “laque tendue”.

On the Frost backside, the glass which is rounded in order to reduce the carrure thickness, reveals an amazingly hand-finished movement.
Frost is available in two limited editions: 18 pieces in yellow gold and 33 in red gold.
