Patek Philippe “Calatrava Pilot Travel Time” – EVENT by Pisa Orologeria

The 5th of November we’ve had the pleasure to board on the plane PP 5524, for a journey into the passion of watchmaking.

Welcomed by Pisa Orologeria, we’ve landed in the big Officine del Volo’s hangar, in Milan, to discover the new Calatrava Pilot Travel Time.

Modern but classic looking, the aviation ispired Pilot is created to read the time in extreme conditions.

The 42mm wide white gold ‘fuselage’ enclose a mechanical engine, visible through the sapphire glass ‘porthole’ on the case-back. The watch has a GMT function, that displays two time zone simultaneously.

Stellar-shiny hands flies over the night-blue dial with arabic numerals, reminding us where we come from and where we are going.
